Few games have inspired the loyalty and affection that Moonstone continues to enjoy more than three decades after its original release.
Since launching the Moonstone Tavern many years ago, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with fans from every corner of the world, all united by a shared love for one of the Amiga’s – well, *any* videogame’s – most unique and atmospheric titles.
Indeed, the Tavern itself is built on the foundations of their magazine scans, guides, videos, and passion. Down the years, countless fans have asked me the same question:
“Will Moonstone ever return?”
It’s taken 35 years… but we’re excited to reveal the Moonstone AGA Project is live!
Led by long-time members of the Moonstone community with diverse development skills and videogame industry experience, the project seeks to recreate and enhance the original experience for Amiga AGA systems while preserving the atmosphere, tension, charm and brutal combat that made the original so memorable.
This exciting new section of the Moonstone Tavern will document that journey, providing the latest news, development updates, screenshots, videos and information about the project as it evolves.
